We live in a world of technology and smart devices and the world just keeps expanding. With so much at our fingertips, everything seems possible. However, we are still in the developmental process for many things and others are just futuristic ideas. Here are some technological innovations and improvements that have hit the market, will hit the market soon, or will taunt the market from afar because they have not been physically invented yet.
Transparent batteries have been developed. This means that we are on our way to creating completely transparent devices. Imagine having an iPhone that was completely transparent except for the apps. This is the trip to the future, and the future is going to be a crazy place and is only a few years away.
Cloud technology is something that is dwarfed in comparison to many of these new inventions, even though it is one of the newest concepts for the Internet. It is so new that many people do not even understand what the name means. It is basically a way for you to share all of your files on computers with your SmartPhones and vice versa. That way you are not without your files when you need them without worrying about losing a USB or CD.
Nano batteries are getting smaller and smaller. It used to be that a nano battery was around the size of the one that goes in your watch. Now the nano battery is thousands upon thousands of times smaller than the human hair and it can power something for a very long time. This is being thought of in terms of using devices for cardiovascular health. Since it is so small, it would be almost imperceptible in the human body and would perform the operations necessary for sustaining life.
Digital paper is something that has been taunting technology users for a long time now. Every year, when a list comes out of potential devices for the year or for the future, paperless paper is always on it. We have yet to see it. But it is supposed to be like an actual tablet but the size of paper with the feel of paper. A Japanese technology maker has developed a similar idea called the Napkin. This is a computer that comes in napkin form. You take a napkin and you write down whatever it is that you want to and then you can submit it to a database. You and your friends can all grab napkins at the same time and share ideas that way. Some of the best ideas were penned on napkins.
There is a group in Germany that is actually developing technology that will allow you to drive your car using the electromagnetic waves in your brain. The reason this came into discussion is that too many people have too slow a reaction time when it comes to accidents. Their mind reacts at the right time, but their legs do not respond as quickly. If the car is triggered by the electricity in the brain then the reaction time will just be the amount of time your brain takes to decide it needs to stop.
